Privacy Policy — Red Thread: Logic Mysteries

Last updated: 30 September 2026 · Developer: TLL Developers

Red Thread ("the app") is a single-player puzzle game developed by TLL Developers ("we"). This policy explains what data is processed when you use it.

Data stored on your device

Your progress (solved cases, streaks, settings, cached casefiles) is stored only on your device. We do not have an account system and we do not receive this data. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows ads through Google AdMob. Before any ad is requested, the app asks for your consent where the law requires it (Google User Messaging Platform). AdMob may collect and process the device advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and ad interaction data, to show and measure ads and prevent fraud. You can change your ad privacy choices at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices (when available in your region) and reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. Google's policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Downloading new casefiles

The app downloads new stories from our content server (Google Firebase Hosting, a static file host). This request contains standard technical information (IP address, user agent) that the host may log briefly for security. No personal data is sent.

Analytics

The app records anonymous gameplay events (for example "case finished", mode, difficulty, time) to improve the game. These events stay on your device and are not sent to us or to any analytics service. If this changes, this policy will be updated first.

Notifications

If you enable the daily reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device. No data leaves the device for it.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data. Ads are requested with content ratings suitable for a general audience.
